Pep Boys Indy Racing League Media Tour

In the Den of the Panther Racing Team

The Pep Boys Indy Racing League Media Tour made a lunch time stop at the racing shop of Scott Goodyear, the Panther Racing Team. This is one of the newest and best equipped shop that the tour saw on its many stops. The entire area was spotless and in order. All of the members of the team came to greet us and spent time talking with the members of the media tour. Scott fielded questions from the audience and also shared his thoughts on his three second place finishes in the Indianopolis 500. He talked alot about the future of the team and the plans they are developing to win not only Indy, but as many of the 11 races on the Pep Boys Indy Racing League schedule as possible. Each team member was introduced and a little about their job and background was shared with the group. After a great lunch, the media members got to look around the shop and ask questions of the team as well as have one-on-one interviews with Scott. It is easy to see why Panther Racing has a bright future in the up coming Pep Boys Indy Racing League season.

In the spirit of true team work, each member of the Pennzoil Panther Racing Team was introduced to the media. It gave us great insight into why this team is an "odds on favorite" to finish at the front of the Pep Boys Indy Racing League this year.
