This Holman-Moody prepared 1965 Ford Galaxie was driven by both Fred Lorenzen (he won the 1965 Daytona 500 that year) and Wendell Scott (famed African-American driver) before it's retirement to the museum. It is still race ready.

This is a rare little 1934 Ford with a Flathead V-8. It was raced on the tracks around the Nashville area by the famous country and western singer Marty Robbins.

This is a 1953 Olds Rocket that ran on "the beach" at Daytona in the early days of NASCAR.

No NASCAR museum would be complete without an example of Richard Petty's racing machines. Here is one of the few Chevy powered cars that "the King" drove after his glory days with Chrysler.

This is a 1964 Mercury Marauder driven by Darel Dieringer to several good finishes in races at Riverside and Daytona.

This is the now famous "Midnight", a Pontiac driven to many victories by Rusty Wallace.

This is a 1965 Ford Galaxie driven by Dick Hutcherson, one of the "golden boys" of the Holman-Moody Race Team in the 1960's.

This is a special built champ car called the Dixie flyer.
This 1929 Ford is the fastest Flathead Ford V-8 (actually Mercury) street roadster in the world with a recorded flying mile speed of 156 mph.

The first car ever raced on a NASCAR track by Rusty Wallace was this 1980 Chevy. It was built by Penske Racing for Rusty and he ran it at Atlanta in 1980. This was before he joined the NASCAR Winston Cup Circuit as a regular in 1984.
