This Holman-Moody prepared 1965 Ford Galaxie was driven by both
Fred Lorenzen (he won the 1965 Daytona 500 that year) and Wendell
Scott (famed African-American driver) before it's retirement to
the museum. It is still race ready.

This is a rare little 1934 Ford with a Flathead V-8. It was raced
on the tracks around the Nashville area by the famous country
and western singer Marty Robbins.

in the early days of NASCAR.

roadster in the world with a recorded flying mile speed of 156 mph.

The first car ever raced on a NASCAR track by Rusty Wallace was
this 1980 Chevy. It was built by Penske Racing for Rusty and he
ran it at Atlanta in 1980. This was before he joined the NASCAR
Winston Cup Circuit as a regular in 1984.
