Classic Car Shows
A big parking lot and a beautiful fall day combine to give us a classic car show. They happen three seasons out of four in cities and towns across America. This event in the suburbs of Atlanta caught our eye. The line up of cars included some great examples of Detroit steel. Check out these beauties. The fine condition of these cars make shows like this one great. Next time you see one in your town, stop and visit. You will not be sorry. You may click on the icon of the image to see the larger photo. Feel free to download them for your own use.

This is a rare fastback Pontica built for NASCAR competition in the mid 80's.

This 1969 Camaro is a great example of the muscle car era.
A very unusual 1973 Chevy Chevelle SS with a 427 big block engine.
This is the American Motors answer to the pony car rage of the 60's, the AMX. It was a limited production and this was an especially clean example.
The very popular 1967 Chevy Chevelle SS 396 with 325 HP version of the big block engine.

The humble little Chevy Nova was a real road warrior when equipped with a 327 small block V-8 like the 1967 model.
This style Chevy II later became the Chevy Nova. This hardtop has a factory installed 283 V-8 with a four speed transmission.

The 1957 Chevy hardtop was a great looking car and fast when equipped with the fuel injected 283 V-8.
A another classic style, this 1955 Chevy sedan is a good example of a very popular model.

The defining look of 1955 was the Chevy hardtop. These made the 265 V-8 with a Powerglide transmission a very good combination.
