Maintain the appearance of your car
In addition
to washing your car frequently you can maintain the appearance
by polishing and waxing your car at least twice a year. Some products
available claim to be able to both polish and wax in one step,
but generally this shortcut is not as effective as performing
each step individually.
In fact,
if it appears too good to be true, it is. Keeping a car clean
is hard work and there is no easy "one step" way to do the job.
It is important to do a through job. Polishing your car removes
oxidized paint that dulls your car's finish. It also fills in
minor surface scratches that you can't ordinarily see with the
naked eye.
Waxing
provides a protective top coat to your car's finish that seals
out moisture, dirt and also helps protect your car's finish from
damage by harmful ultraviolet rays from the sun. If you need additional
